Position Overview
Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide, delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel on five continents for a portfolio of customers. We are looking for a Mission Relevant Terrain - Cyber (MRT-C) Lead Analyst in the Colorado Springs, CO area.
Key Responsibilities
- Guides junior analysts and demonstrates how to conduct MRT-C analysis while assisting with follow-on defensive cyber actions on high-priority USSF missions and assets.
- Performs mission analysis by identifying cyber dependencies, vulnerabilities, and developing mission cyber defense sensor strategies.
- Analyzes a wide range of mission-related cyberspace network activities tailored to command, control, operational processes, and dependent space mission systems.
- Identifies, assesses, and implements mitigations to risks within local cyberspace terrain critical to mission accomplishment.
- Develops mission thread data to support USSF mission owners, cybersecurity personnel, defensive cyber operators, and program offices.
- Utilizes gathered information to create and deliver an Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) and Asset Defense Plan (ADP).
- Analyzes MRT-C results against mission system vulnerabilities and cyber threats to identify Key Terrain - Cyber for each USSF mission.
- Provides mission analysis support to USSF MRT-C teams for determining cyberspace dependencies, security risks, and defense plan measures.
- Inputs all mission data correctly into the Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS).
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of differentiating between critical and non-critical systems and networks to enhance defense and response capabilities.
- Knowledge of assessing systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations and policies.
- Ability to measure the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architectures against known vulnerabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of Mission Assurance disciplines including risk management, mission mapping, vulnerability assessments, and defensive cyber capabilities.
- Proficiency in mission analysis techniques, FMA-C methodologies, and understanding mission dependencies.
- Strong problem-solving skills across a wide variety of information systems.
- Familiarity with the Mission Assurance Database Support System (MADSS) and similar repositories.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective time management and interpersonal abilities.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in mission analysis, information security technologies, and USSF mission capabilities.
- Must hold CISSP OR Security+ and one of the following: GICSP, GCED, PenTest+, or GSEC OR a B.S. degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with the Functional Mission Analysis - Cyber (FMA-C).
- Experience with Space Force capabilities and related assets.
