Job Description

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will participate in all aspects of the Company's M&A strategy and report directly to the Vice President-M&A. You will liaise regularly with finance, accounting, legal, and all of Carrix' operating businesses. In this role, you will support the development and presentation of detailed financial models, insightful analyses, business cases, and due diligence for underwriting potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships. This role is pivotal as the M&A and Business Development team plays a key role in critical, growth-oriented business decisions with significant exposure to senior leadership and the board of directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Strategic Analysis & Market Research by researching market trends, industry landscapes, and potential acquisition targets to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models and perform Financial Modeling & Valuation analyses, including cash flow models and operating metrics.
  • Assist in Due Diligence Support by coordinating with internal and external teams, preparing key due diligence materials, and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support Transaction Execution by managing multiple projects concurrently and assisting with the development of transaction best practices and presentation materials.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as part of Stakeholder Communication for senior leadership and board meetings.
  • Monitor and track the performance of the Company's acquisitions, investments, and partnerships (Monitoring and Management).
  • Foster Cross-functional Collaboration by coordinating with internal teams to ensure acquisitions align with business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field (accounting, economics, etc.).
  • Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in infrastructure investment and/or investment banking.
  • Inquisitive self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a passion for producing excellent work with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to develop financial models independently with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong financial acumen with comprehensive knowledge of valuation methodologies and debt structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to drive multiple analyses in a time-critical, transaction-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence platforms.

Compensation: $120,000 - 160,000 per year

This is a Hybrid role combining work from home and in-person work.
