Job Description

Position Overview

HSHS St Vincent’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care unit. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to assess and monitor critically ill patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses or injuries.

Department: Critical Care-ICU • Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hrs/wk, Nights (7p-7a) and every-other weekend • Facility: St. Vincent’s Hospital • Location: Green Bay, WI

Compensation: Pay range is $36.50 - $55.50/hour based on experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. (Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing is preferred.
  • Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
  • Specialty certifications such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
