Job Description

Position Overview

Xpodigital (www.xpodigital.com) is a rapidly growing digital signage and convention internet company. We are seeking a standout DIGITAL SIGNAGE ADVERTISING SALES MANAGER with 5-6 years of experience in sales and/or event sales/operations within the hospitality industry or an equivalent high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role is based in Philadelphia (Market East section, Center City 19107) or requires comfortable daily commuting, while our primary operations are in Orlando, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert prospective customers to new clients through effective sales discussions, presentations, and relationship development.
  • Collaborate with prospective and existing clients to define, develop, coordinate, and implement digital signage solutions for events (conferences, shows, sporting events, etc.) including on-site visits and planning meetings.
  • Record client requirements in Xpodigital’s proprietary support app for solution planning, installation, management, and invoicing.
  • Negotiate pricing to win new business and grow existing accounts by developing innovative solutions that meet client budgets.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with venue sales and events partners, executive board members, and client event contacts.
  • Provide on-site support during client events and serve as a liaison between clients and technical staff when needed.
  • Generate future event business forecasts for revenue and resource planning and prepare post-event reports.
  • Present updates and status reports at monthly partner meetings with venues.
  • Achieve proficiency in Xpodigital’s products, technology, service offerings, and pricing models.
  • Collaborate with accounting on end-of-month reconciliation and support national, regional, and local business efforts.
  • Participate in industry-related sales mission trips and conferences, and perform limited technical support tasks related to digital signage equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of sales and/or event sales/operations experience in the hospitality industry or an equivalent fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability in sales and sales negotiation along with outstanding CUSTOMER SERVICE skills.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation), organizational, planning, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • Must be resident of the Philadelphia area or be able to commute daily to Center City Philadelphia.
  • Personal qualities that include being ambitious, results-focused, informed, confident, detailed-oriented, engaging, upbeat, and opportunistic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling IT solutions, with a focus on digital signage.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or Hospitality & Tourism.
