Position Overview

Join Goodyear, a leader in tire and auto service innovation operating over 580 centers nationwide, as an Entry Level Automotive Technician. In this role you will gain hands‐on experience performing basic automotive services – from mounting and balancing tires to oil changes and filter replacements – while receiving excellent on‐the‐job training. No prior experience is required as we invest in your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, filter replacements, and tire repairs.
• Train alongside mid and senior level technicians to develop additional automotive skills.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service through clear communication about vehicle status.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations while maintaining strict adherence to company policies.
• Handle manual tasks safely, which may include light to heavy lifting and extended periods of physical activity.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to learning new technologies in the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
• Strict adherence to established safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training.
