Medical Assistant - Russian Speaking

Position Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain the efficient work-flow of the office while providing support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before, during, and after. You will ensure that each patient enjoys an excellent service experience. This position requires Fluent in Russian and operates Monday – Saturday at our clinics in West Hollywood, Glendale, and Valley Village.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms; assist with form completion as necessary.
• Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software and use them according to company policies.
• Answer multiple-line and multiple-language telephone lines.
• Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, including transportation arrangements and rescheduling.
• Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility.
• Perform clerical work as needed (copying, filing, faxing, etc.).
• Maintain procedure rooms by ensuring they are neat and ready for use at all times.
• Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures following instructions and individual doctor preferences.
• Prepare patients before procedures and clean up afterward.
• Ensure patients receive post-procedure instructions and guidance on obtaining medication if needed.
• Prepare IV solution.
• Apply sterile techniques and adhere to OSHA regulations.
• Train new staff and assist ultrasound staff as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Fluent in Russian

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Medical Assistant Certification
