Position Overview

Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a remote Family Law Paralegal to join our San Antonio office (remote but must reside near San Antonio to attend hearings and meet with clients). The role plays a critical part in maintaining excellence in client service by balancing legal expertise, client advocacy, and collaboration in diverse family law cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple competing responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal interactions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure collective success and efficiency in case management.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-6 years of experience in family law preferred, with consideration given to other legal experience.
  • Exceptional writing skills and proficiency in e-filing with county courts.
  • Experience working with multiple attorneys in a law firm setting.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff while managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: $23 – $31 hourly + commission. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, internal and external pay equity, and other job-related factors.
