HV Field Electrician 1

Key Responsibilities

• Based out of our Bakersfield, CA service center.
• Respond to major component failure escalations.
• Carry out major component changes and field repairs.
• Carry out advanced troubleshooting of electrical LV or HV systems.
• Ensure that major repairs are completed on time.
• Travel position requiring 65% or more travel away from home.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (current passport required).
• Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC card.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 5 years of high and/or medium voltage experience.
• Experience with refineries/government site protocols and work requirements.
• Experience with HV test equipment.
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• HASC or chemical plants certification (a plus).
