In the Consumer Banker II role, you will provide an exceptional customer experience in an inbound call center environment by discussing a full range of banking products and services, supporting existing customer relationships, and contributing to the bank's marketing efforts. You will also be responsible for managing risk, ensuring compliance with policies, and upholding ethical standards. Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45227. Salary: Reflective of role factors including relevant experience, education, and geographic location, with eligibility for an incentive compensation plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of consumer banking products and financial need assessment tools to create a memorable customer experience and help customers achieve their financial goals.
- Utilize a consultative approach with current customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain a well-developed, working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered by the bank.
- Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
- Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics along with other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected of every employee.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of customer service or call center experience, or a college degree or equivalent military experience.
- Ability to develop comfort with managing customer experience and providing financial consultation over the phone.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional representation of Fifth Third Bank.
- Proven ability in making sound decisions.
- Registration under the S.A.F.E. Act at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
