Senior / Lead Financial Analyst – Treasury
Location:
Columbus, OH (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)Join our dynamic Treasury team at NiSource with responsibility for managing the internal and external financing needs of NiSource and its subsidiaries. The Treasury team focuses on maintaining the company’s daily liquidity, managing short‑term debt in conjunction with the company's financing strategies, overseeing relationships with treasury management banks and commercial paper dealers, and monitoring economic factors and market trends. The Financial Analyst provides value‑added financial services to both internal and external customers by reviewing and interpreting financial reporting proposals, preparing analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro‑forma financial data, and developing comprehensive financial data reports.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, treasury, accounting, or regulatory finance, preferably within a regulated industry such as utilities or energy.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling/data analysis; familiarity with a Treasury Work Station is a plus.
- Financial Acumen – Understands basics of finance and accounting, including the relationships between segments of the financial statements (e.g. balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
