Entry-Level Data Analyst

Position Overview

Location: New York City, New York, US. Our client is looking for enthusiastic and analytical Entry-Level Data Analysts to join their growing team. This internship program is designed for recent graduates eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. Interns will work on diverse projects, gaining hands-on experience in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization. You will learn to identify trends, patterns, and insights within complex datasets, and communicate your findings effectively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior analysts with data extraction from various sources.
• Perform data validation and quality checks.
• Contribute to the development of reports and dashboards.
• Utilize SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
• Collaborate in both remote and in-office settings, participate in team meetings, present findings, and support problem-solving initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and presentation of findings.
• Foundational understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Previous internship experience or relevant coursework in data analytics is beneficial.
