Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and identify potential issues.
- Assess warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Document audit results and communicate discrepancies to management for timely resolution.
- Ensure precise tracking and recording of inventory movements and stock levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Provide recommendations to enhance inventory accuracy, safety, and overall operational efficiency.
- Assist in the training of warehouse staff on proper inventory control and auditing procedures.
- Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of auditing procedures and reporting systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot inconsistencies in inventory and warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and overall warehouse functions.
- Clear and effective communication skills, particularly for documenting audit findings and reporting discrepancies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse auditing or inventory control.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) or other inventory tracking systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and compliance standards.
