Position Overview
The Full Time Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) at Enterprise Rent-A-Car will provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers at the Ocala Regional Airport location. This role involves assisting customers with their rental needs, providing administrative support, and acting as a rental backup in a large home city branch. The CAR Sr will gain valuable knowledge through local training and hands-on experience, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, and general inquiries, providing information and resolutions for customers and vendors.
- Manage outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- Provide high-level customer service by assisting customers in person and over the phone to assess their rental needs.
- Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
- Provide directions and general assistance to customers.
- Assess the condition of rental vehicles upon return and process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
- Market the company effectively while picking up and dropping off customers safely and courteously.
- Understand and communicate rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services to customers.
- Sell optional protection products, upgrades, and other additional equipment as needed.
- Notify management of any known vehicle problems and required maintenance.
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
- Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions, including research and billing support, accounts receivables, and supply maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college preferred.
- At least 1 year of prior customer service, retail, or administrative support experience required.
- Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
- Willing to report to work at the Ocala Regional Airport.
- Willing to accept a pay rate of $18/hr.

- Experience in the automotive rental industry.
