Your Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design
- Design, document, and communicate end-to-end Workday solutions, encompassing integrations, data transformations, reporting, and business processes.
- Deliver technical documentation such as process maps, data flow diagrams, and solution design artifacts, and continuously improve documentation quality over time.
- Deploy technical solutions efficiently, meeting agreed-upon timelines and delivering results in a timely manner.
- Proactively forecast and manage workload, demonstrating strong self-management and initiative as a self-starter.
- Effectively juggle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and performance across all deliverables.
- Ensure that all business systems comply with relevant regulations and security standards.
- Participate in Change Management processes performing architecture reviews, risk assessments, and aiding in the decision-making process.
Workday Platform Expertise
- Lead and execute data analysis, transformation, and load activities to support Workday operations.
- Develop growing subject matter expertise in Workday technical capabilities including security design, reporting, data management, and integrations across functional areas (HCM, FINS, PSA).
- Partner with business analysts and functional leads to evaluate the feasibility of technical and business requirements.
- Support issue investigation and escalation by partnering with cross team engineers on Workday design decisions.
Security & Compliance
- Collaborate with Workday Security Team to validate architectural decisions align with access policies, SOC controls, and data privacy standards.
- Ensure that technical designs incorporate role-based access, audit controls, and user provisioning best practices.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with integration developers, data engineers, and platform teams to deliver aligned and cohesive solutions.
- Act as a bridge between business and IT, facilitating informed solutioning across stakeholders.
- Serve as Ambassador to the Data & Architecture team members acting as a point of escalation and SME for the Workday Platform.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience working with Workday in a systems, integrations, data conversion, or analyst capacity.
- Hands-on experience with Workday reporting and data management.
- Experience managing data migrations and phased deployments.
- Proficiency in utilizing Workday data load and management tools including APIs and EIBs.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage assigned work independently, and collaborate effectively on cross-functional projects.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills with a track record of partnering across business and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Financials (FINS), and/or PSA modules.
- Proficiency with ETL tools and SQL.
- Experience with Workday configurable security configuration and best practices.
- Hands-on expertise in Workday integrations (Inbound and Outbound EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, Cloud Connect, APIs).
- Workday Extend and core development skills.
- Advanced relational database experience.
- Experience supporting technology integration during mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience creating technical documentation (process maps, data flow diagrams, and architecture specifications).
- Solid understanding of compliance and security frameworks (SOC controls, data privacy, role-based access).
