Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate accountability and perform procedures in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment safely in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Perform technical radiographic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in the administration of contrast media per departmental policy.
• Obtain high quality radiographic images and review them to ensure quality standards are met.
• Document all pertinent patient information including history, allergies, and consent.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists throughout procedures.
• Participate in rotating call assignments as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associate Degree from a 2-year AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Valid ARRT credential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1-3 years licensed experience in Radiology; one year of Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Angio, peripheral, and neuro experience is a plus.
