Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate accountability and perform procedures in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner.
- Prepare and position patients and equipment safely in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Perform technical radiographic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media per departmental policy.
- Obtain high quality radiographic images and review them to ensure quality standards are met.
- Document all pertinent patient information including history, allergies, and consent.
- Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists throughout procedures.
- Participate in rotating call assignments as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Associate Degree from a 2-year AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Valid ARRT credential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-3 years licensed experience in Radiology; one year of Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
- Angio, peripheral, and neuro experience is a plus.
