Job Description

Position Overview

Monument Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. A skilled group of nurses holds the power to revolutionize the healthcare system. We welcome both novice and experienced RNs who embody optimism, diligence, and compassion in delivering patient-centered care with empathy. Location: Rapid City, SD USA. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Salary: $28.80 - $36.00 per hour. Additionally, up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Applies the ANA Nursing Process (2010) by gathering extensive patient information, reviewing assessments, forecasting personalized goals, and constructing effective care plans while ensuring proper coordination of care.
  • Implements health education initiatives and promotes a healthy environment, collaborating with advanced practice nurses and specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Adheres to the ANA Standards of Professional Performance by employing systematic approaches, maintaining current nursing proficiency, reflecting on practice, and contributing to the professional development of peers.
  • Engages patients, families, and colleagues in collaborative care while upholding ethical standards and integrating research findings into practice.
  • Utilizes appropriate technology and software for documentation, accessing work-related applications, and proactively identifying innovative solutions to improve patient care.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support the mission and principles of Monument Health.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association) within 60 days of hire/transfer and hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the South Dakota Board of Nursing or the Wyoming Board of Nursing (for Wyoming facilities).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
