Entry Level Accountant at Serve You Rx Milwaukee, WI

Position Overview

Serve You Rx is seeking an entry level Accountant to join their Accounting & Analytics team in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will work both collaboratively and independently on tasks such as preparing financial statements, journal entries, tax reporting, and expense variance analysis. The position offers the flexibility of a hybrid remote schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, general ledgers, reports, and taxes.
• Ensuring compliance with financial transaction regulatory and recording standards.
• Controlling and reconciling accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.).
• Creating accounting reports and schedules for internal management and external compliance reporting.
• Supporting budgeting activities including variance analysis and budget preparation, as well as handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Reviewing and auditing contract terms, orders, and vouchers, and preparing substantiating reports prior to settlement.
• Providing technical direction to support staff using established procedures to resolve routine issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred.
