UHS is currently recruiting for its Hospital Administrator Program at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. This tertiary-care and teaching hospital offers a comprehensive range of services – from advanced cardiovascular, neurological, and surgical procedures to recognized stroke and chest pain care – ensuring round-the-clock emergency care and specialized medical programs.
The selected candidate will manage day-to-day operations in various hospital departments, implement the strategy set by the CEO and COO, and spearhead projects aimed at maximizing both service quality and profitability. Additionally, the candidate will participate in corporate Leadership Development classes, preparing for future executive roles within UHS.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple hospital departments
- Implement the strategic vision of the CEO and COO
- Manage departments to maximize service quality and hospital profitability
- Participate in corporate Leadership Development classes to prepare for future executive roles
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the financial implications of decisions, including budgeting and forecasting for departments or projects
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills to effectively interact with physicians, managers, and staff
- Master’s degree required (MBA, MHA, or related program)
- Hospital management experience at a mid-level (3-7 years)
- Acute Care Hospital experience
- Willingness to relocate
- Strong project management experience
- Excellent critical thinking skills

- Administrative Residency or Fellowship experience
