Position Overview
At Best Buy, we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused PC Repair and Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will use your technical skills to troubleshoot and repair both hardware and software issues in customer computers, as well as assist customers with new installations. The ideal candidate should be organized, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues in customer computers.
- Assist customers with new computer installations.
- Research and recommend computer components or solutions to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
- Provide timely and efficient customer service.
- Test computers for any hardware or software issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide technical support and instruction to customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends in computer technology.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in computer repair and installation
- Knowledge of current PC operating systems and hardware components
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
