Job Description

Position Overview

The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Account Manager, reporting to the Director, Search, will be responsible for working on client SEM accounts as part of Audacy’s centralized revenue operations Search team. This individual is expected to build, monitor, and analyze clients' digital PPC advertising campaigns while serving as the primary contact for the sales team and vendors. They will also provide strategic recommendations to ensure campaign success. This role is open to remote work in any of Audacy's 48 markets. Please note: This is a pipeline posting. Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize tools to provide accurate budget estimates of campaign potential to the sales team as they pitch Audacy’s SEM products.
  • Design and implement keywords, text ads, and account structure to maximize client performance.
  • Optimize account performance based on industry standards and best practices to exceed client objectives.
  • Perform budget adjustments to accurately spend the client’s budget over the month and campaign lifespan.
  • Serve as the key stakeholder to analyze account performance and clearly communicate any upsell potential to the sales team.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or relevant experience
  • Experience with keyword research tools and the ability to use these tools to set up and expand SEM campaigns
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, or other PPC platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales and account teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Paid search or digital media advertising experience
  • Google Ads certified (Google Shopping experience is a plus)
  • Experience with Wide Orbit, TapClicks, or other digital order entry and workflow platforms

  • Compensation:Anticipated starting salary range is$50,000 to $65,000/yr(salary determined based on education, experience, skills, and location).
