Civil Engineering | Project Engineer

Position Overview

Join our Civil Engineering team as a Project Engineer! In this role, you will support and manage public and private land development projects—from scheduling, budgeting, and design oversight to client communications—under the guidance of the Project Manager. You’ll work on a diverse range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and water resources developments. Key Responsibilities

• Support management for public and private land development projects including scheduling, budgeting, client communication, and overall project design under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Monitor the performance of junior staff to ensure projects remain within scope and budget.
• Oversee overall project budgets for managed projects.
• Direct and supervise the CAD and design work of junior team members.
• Assist in the preparation of task budgets within proposals under Project Manager direction.
• Prepare reports and direct junior staff in gathering project data.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications, and industry trends.
• Experience using Civil 3D.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active California PE license is strongly preferred.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, or planning.
