JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Technician will audit, test and measure finished goods to ensure customer standards are met while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Compensation: $21.00 Targeted Pay Rate

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
  • Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
  • Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations to management.
  • Audit compliance with GMP policies and control plan requirements including process parameters.
  • Perform process inspections during molding, packaging, loading, and in-process inspections of manufactured products.
  • Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and conduct cycle counts/inventory of finished goods as required.
  • Communicate quality issues and out-of-specification conditions to appropriate personnel and shift leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of related experience.
  • ASQ certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Safe work practices.
  • Influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of basic statistics.
  • Metrology skills including calibration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Logical approach to problem solving in production and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding the role of Quality in a manufacturing organization and a Quality Operating System.
