In Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division (EPD) you will support integrated solutions for a variety of commercial and industrial electric power customers—from providing back-up power for hospitals to supporting critical data center infrastructure. We are looking for a top-notch Marketing Communications Consultant to lead communications for the EP Services team, serving as the primary storyteller to ensure alignment with strategy, goals, and business updates.

Salary: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Key Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive communications plans for new services development projects
  • Lead internal and dealer communications
  • Manage monthly internal newsletters and all employee meetings
  • Coordinate training sessions and team events
  • Deepen understanding of customer segments, marketing tactics, and industry needs
  • Create and monitor metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication tactics
  • Maintain effective communications with the marketing department to align overall strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Responsibilities: Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to align business decisions with client needs
  • Collaborative mindset with proficiency in working with diverse teams
  • Creativity in applying tools and techniques to drive original business solutions
  • Strong effective communications skills to clearly transmit and interpret ideas
  • Ability in relationship management to maintain healthy working partnerships
  • Sound knowledge of promotional and marketing communications methods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable communication plans
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Industry experience in marketing communications
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and influence others on new technologies and communication methods
