Job Description

Position Overview

We are a forward-thinking services company at the forefront of AI-native innovation that partners with enterprise clients to create next-generation, agent-powered workflows. As an AI Native Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy cloud-native and agentic solutions that drive real-world results. You will embed directly with clients, acting as both technologist and trusted advisor, while shaping the playbook for enterprise AI adoption. Note that travel may be required, ranging from 25% to 75% depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of complex agentic solutions or serve as an individual contributor, owning key technical areas end to end.
  • Design and build enterprise-ready AI agents incorporating retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, and lifecycle observability.
  • Develop and extend abstraction layers across various AI providers to enable seamless integration and multi-provider enablement.
  • Leverage cloud-native technologies – containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), microservices, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipelines – to deploy scalable solutions.
  • Engage with clients through design workshops, proof-of-concepts, and technical sessions, communicating trade-offs and recommendations clearly.
  • Define key metrics and iterate on agent performance, accuracy, and cost effectiveness; contribute to reusable patterns and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive engineering experience (3+ years) with cloud-native systems and hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic solutions in production or near-production environments.
  • Proficiency in modern AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI) and programming in Python, Java, or equivalent, with experience in evaluation tooling, logging, and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying production systems using CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), and observability stacks.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with a proven track record of leading technical discussions and workshops; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant AI certifications or experience with agentic tooling and frameworks.
  • Experience in enterprise-grade AI engineering, including designing compound AI systems and orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience leading small engineering teams, providing coaching, and managing multiple workstreams.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: Salary ranges vary by location, offering competitive pay tailored to your expertise.
  • Comprehensive benefits package as per company guidelines.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • Travel opportunities as needed to meet client and business requirements.
