We are currently inviting applications for the Cargo Operations Coordinator position based in Los Angeles, California. This role supports the day-to-day execution of our cargo operation and serves as an important link between airline operations, ground handling partners, and regulatory authorities. The position requires sound judgment, situational awareness, and a commitment to maintaining operational standards in a dynamic cargo warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete required training in the Company’s cargo operations systems, dangerous goods regulations, and operational procedures, and successfully pass all assessments.
- Oversee and monitor the performance of the contracted Ground Handling Agent (GHA), ensuring compliance with Company SOPs, safety requirements, and service standards.
- Coordinate daily operational matters between the GHA, airport office, and internal departments to maintain smooth cargo handling processes.
- Manage export and import cargo operations and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including headquarters, port authorities, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain control of ULD inventory and related equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and proper handling.
- Address operational irregularities and assist in resolving cargo issues and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work rotating shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays according to operational roster.
- Maintain reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to remain composed under operational pressure and make sound decisions.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Prior experience in airline operations, ground handling, logistics, or airport operations is advantageous but not required. Attention to detail, accountability, and operational awareness are highly valued.

Pay: From $44,400.00 per year
