Position Overview
Gartner is hiring an Associate Data Analyst with 0–3 years of experience to join their Global Product Management (GPM) organization, working within the Research Business Analytics (RBA) team. This role, based in the United States (Stamford, CT) with ahybridwork environment, focuses on powering fact‐based decision making through analysis and actionable insights related to research content, client interaction, budget analysis, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with GPM and RBA colleagues to perform analysis that surfaces actionable insights for the Research & Advisory organization.
- Take ownership of key projects, adhering to rollout plans, success criteria, and performance metrics.
- Develop domain expertise on Gartner’s data, analytic tools, and reports while providing clear explanations of data sources to senior audiences.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of innovative data sources and process enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with the Information Technology team and data scientists to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:2+ years involving analysis of large data volumes using analytical tools, with the ability to gather, analyze, and articulate insights.
- Education:Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative concentration (e.g., statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, operational research, computer science, or economics).
- Problem Solving:Proven track record in solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and leveraging data to tell a story.
- Leadership:Demonstrated ability to engage teams and key stakeholders.
- Technical Skills:Advanced Excel with intermediate proficiency in SQL and Python/R.
- Collaboration & Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work independently.
- Must have U.S. work authorization.
