THE ROLE
The Omnichannel Associate Manager, Shopper Marketing (AM) will play a critical role in creating and building our channel specific omnichannel approach for the Grocery channel. The AM is accountable for plan development, agency and tactic budget management, PDP content optimization, overviews and delivery of post program results and insights. This person is a key collaborator in our wholistic approach to engaging our consumer. This role provides creative solutions / ideas that are mutually beneficial for our organization and our retail partners.
The AM will develop and execute marketing programs that are in-store, out-of-store and digital, in tandem with customer and cross-functional brand teams. Plans will extend brand strategy and activation platforms, while delivering on customer specific insights to drive profitable volume growth and equity of LSB Brands. The role will proactively analyze and measure shopper marketing program business results, marketing KPIs, ROIs, and industry insights. This person will provide thought leadership around digital activation and consumer engagement, as well as elevate shopper marketing plans by working closely with retailer marketing teams to drive meaningful ways to reach the retailer shopper.
Please note: This is a home office-based role. Ideal candidate will live in Cincinnati, OH or nearby.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop and implement Omni Shopper programs that will influence shopper behavior and stimulate product demand for the grocery retailer channel
- Leverage Brand strategies and build retailer programs in support of brand objectives
- Drive the annual grocery customer planning process to build actionable growth plans
- Utilize customer loyalty data to develop targeted programs, optimize media efficiency and measure results
- Manage budget and ROI data + analysis
- Proficient of retailer strategies, media networks, category dynamics and shopper behavior
- Develop collaborative relationships w/ retailer marketing teams to build plans
- Collaborate cross functionally within the organization, including sales, brand, finance, commercial development, sales planning, creative studio, legal, as well as externally with agencies
- Build strong internal partnerships and alliances w/ key stakeholders
- Maintain the Omnichannel Shopper Marketing Calendar for Grocery channel
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 3+ years relevant experience
Preferred:
- 1+ experience with Kroger Media Network
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience
- Functional understanding of digital merchandising tactics and organic search optimization
- Proven analytical capabilities using various data sources including Nielsen, POS, Advertising Portals, and Consumer Panel Data
- Strong strategic and tactical skills
- Prefers to listen and understand complex problems before creating mutually beneficial solutions with internal and external partners.
- Able to Think Like a Founder in a dynamic growth environment considering evolving customer + consumer trends.
- Critical thinker able to influence up and across organizational structures.
- Skilled in problem solving, plan development and priority setting.
- Ability to step away from the details and share the big picture impact.
