Our client, a dynamic leader in the sports and fitness industry, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Performance Marketing to lead their digital acquisition efforts. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to shape and execute impactful marketing campaigns from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for driving measurable growth in user acquisition, engagement, and revenue through a data-driven approach across various paid channels.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive performance marketing strategies across paid social, search, display, affiliate, and other relevant channels.
- Manage and optimize large advertising budgets to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CPA, ROAS, LTV, and CAC.
- Identify new growth opportunities and emerging channels for user acquisition.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Oversee the creation of compelling ad creatives and copy tailored to specific audiences and platforms.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and platform partners.
- Stay at the forefront of digital marketing trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with product, content, and creative teams to ensure cohesive campaign messaging and user experience.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing performance marketing team.
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and regular reporting for stakeholders.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies through targeted campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years: of experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on digital acquisition channels.
- Proven track record: of successfully managing significant advertising budgets and driving measurable growth in competitive markets.
- Extensive experience: with major advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
- Strong understanding: of A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Excellent skills: in analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
- Exceptional leadership:, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience: in the sports or fitness industry is a plus.
- Ability: to work independently and manage complex projects effectively in a remote setting.
- A data-driven mindset: with a passion for optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Demonstrated ability: to build and lead successful marketing teams.
