Job Description

Position Overview

Medical City Arlington, part of HCA Healthcare and a 435‐bed full-service hospital in south Arlington, is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician. In this role you will work as a crucial member of a collaborative nursing care team to deliver hands-on patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity while contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery
  • Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
  • Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
  • Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to support infection control
  • Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • CNA or PCT Certification required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
