Insurance Customer Service Representative Commercial Lines

Position Overview

Rowley Insurance, a small commercial insurance agency in North Central Austin with over 70 years of history, is seeking a full-time, long-term Customer Service Representative. This role supports commercial insurance policy sales, account management, and policy renewals, including managing existing policy renewals, assisting customers with day-to-day questions and policy maintenance, handling data processing and input, and providing operations support (such as answering phones and processing payments). Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial insurance policy renewals and account maintenance.
• Answer phones and assist customers with inquiries.
• Perform data entry, processing, and input.
• Handle miscellaneous office duties including processing payments, distributing mail, and managing office supplies.
• Maintain regular hours (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM).

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• A good attitude and ability to work well with others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance industry experience.
• Experience with AMS360.
