Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements/tax returns and other accounting/assurance assignments.
• Effectively apply technology tools and software in assigned areas.
• Recognize and proactively support the firm’s commitment to providing quality client service.
• Anticipate potential problems and keep the senior/manager informed of engagement or project status.
• Comply with firm practice management and quality control procedures and systems.
• Develop awareness of budget constraints versus the workload required on files.
• Contribute to fostering an environment of teamwork.
• Maintain and promote ethical and firm values in all internal and external business activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting (or related major) with 150 credit hours and CPA eligibility required; 0-1 years' experience – new college grads welcome; CPA certification or progress toward completion.
• Computer proficiency and ability to effectively use firm technology.
• Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (e.g., client presentations, industry articles).
• Exceptional customer service skills.
