The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to effectively navigate multiple systems. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. The Patient Access Representative will be responsible for performing all patient-related registration functions in an accurate and timely manner. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all patient information is accurate and up-to-date, and that all documents are properly filed.
Responsibilities of a Patient Access Representative:
- Greet and register patients in a courteous and timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in all systems.
- Ensure all documents are properly filed and stored.
- Collect and verify patient information including insurance and contact information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
- Follow established protocols for patient registration and data entry.
- Provide assistance to other staff members as needed.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and other related standards.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
