Membership Sales Specialist - Squirrel Hill

Position Overview

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh is seeking qualified applicants for the position of a Part Time Membership Sales Specialist for the Membership Department at its Squirrel Hill facility. This position is responsible for the recruitment and retention of memberships, promotional events and assisting with customer service initiatives. This position also includes working at the front desk as needed.

Candidates should have experience multitasking and be task and goal oriented. Flexible schedule is a must including evenings and weekends as well as holiday hours. QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in a customer service with 1-2 years experience in a sales environment.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, to touch, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, run and swim. Frequently the employee is required to sit. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Clearances:

Must be able to obtain or possess PA Criminal History Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance, PA Mandated Reporter Training, First Aid/CPR Certification.
