Position Overview

UX Designer III – Shape the Future of AI-Integrated Experiences at WEX. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to design end-to-end experiences by translating concepts into user flows, visualizations, and prototypes optimized for a range of devices.
  • Ensure a user-centered design approach by aligning solutions with customer needs and WEX business objectives.
  • Experiment with AI capabilities—including generative AI, chatbots, and predictive models—to drive innovative, user-centric solutions.
  • Plan and conduct research using diverse methods such as usability testing, interviews, field studies, and surveys.
  • Conduct competitive UX analyses to inform design direction and identify whitespace for innovation.
  • Leverage rapid testing and feedback loops to refine designs and optimize AI integrations.
  • Demonstrate a strategic vision by understanding corporate strategy, market trends, and shaping AI-driven design strategies.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration to inspire innovation and deliver best-in-class outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a UX Designer or in a related role focused on complex, technology-driven products or services, with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to uncover user insights that lead to meaningful and delightful experiences.
  • Passion for AI: Demonstrated enthusiasm for AI technologies through professional projects or personal initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Figma along with experience in prototyping tools and design systems tailored for AI-driven experiences.
  • Familiarity with UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting.com, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail) and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
