Position Overview
As a Customer Service Representative at Speedy Cash in Phoenix, AZ, you will help community members access the financial solutions they need exactly when they need them. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll build lasting connections with a diverse customer base, process key transactions (including check cashing, money transfers, and customer payments), and provide exceptional in-store experiences. Extensive hands-on training, coaching, and development opportunities are provided to set you on a path for advancement in this dynamic, entry-level role.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships that drive repeat business.
- Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy.
- Maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services.
- Enter and maintain customer information with precision into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Build new business by completing daily call campaigns and assisting in account management and collections.
- Perform duties beyond the office including on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing, while participating in community events.
- Maintain internal and external store appearance and adhere to cleanliness and security protocols.
- Uphold compliance with company policies and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Engage in ongoing training and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Adhere to a full-time in-person work schedule with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter data.
- Proficiency in using phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama); background check required.
- Capability to meet physical demands, including standing up to 90% of the time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
- Prior experience with cash handling, cash drawer, or vault management.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a personal vehicle (mileage compensated).
