The Role

The Technical Marketing Lead will forge strong relationships with key technology decision-makers and influencers at customer organizations. This position requires close collaboration with our business, sales, operations, and cross-functional teams to effectively introduce and support new products at customer sites.

Among various responsibilities, you will manage technical presentations, communicate timelines for key milestones, comprehend current and future customer needs, and gather competitive insights. You'll be an internal and external liaison for troubleshooting and problem-solving in ongoing projects. Fluency in Korean and English is essential.

This position mandates relocation to Mesa, AZ, Carrollton, TX, or Austin, TX, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local sales teams, Business Directors, Product Managers, and Product Development Managers to implement strategic plans for innovative products that address market needs.
  • Engage directly with leading customers to assimilate and communicate current and future market requirements, create technical roadmaps aligned with industry needs.
  • Work closely with technology development, operations, and quality assurance to ensure successful new product introductions that adhere to customer timelines and performance metrics.
  • Support product development by collaborating with technical teams to satisfy internal protocols, customer data requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate responses to technical inquiries about new and existing products from customers.
  • Collaborate with supplier quality engineers on change control, capacity planning, quality improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Lead projects with industry partners in line with core product technical requirements.
  • Manage change projects at key customer sites to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide support for statistical production data reviews for both new and existing products at key customers.
  • Spearhead product quality improvement initiatives and customer task force projects.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields with a minimum of 15 years' experience in Electronic Materials; an MBA is a plus.
  • Fluency in Korean and English is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel internationally frequently, exceeding 50%, and attend functions outside standard work hours.
  • Experience with ultra-pure solvents, formulated and bulk chemicals, photolithography, and thin films is highly desirable.
  • Background working with Tier 1 semiconductor companies is preferred.
  • Proven problem-solving skills related to chemical, physical, material, and process issues.
  • Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control principles.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and design of experiments for customer presentations and internal requirements.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Excellent proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel for creating impactful technical presentations.
  • Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is valuable.
