Position Overview

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment‐based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. Join Spectrum Community Solutions as a seasoned and results‐oriented sales professional. As an Account Executive for Community Solutions, you will implement innovative sales strategies to secure our services in multiple dwelling unit (MDU) properties – driving revenue and market penetration while partnering with high‐level clientele. This opportunity is based in an office environment with up to 50% travel (primarily day trips with occasional overnight stays).

Key Responsibilities

  • Simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop strategic sales presentations to secure long-term R.O.E agreements with MDUs and SFUs.
  • Exceed quarterly revenue sales quotas across all products, including HSD, video, managed Wi‑Fi, and other bulk services.
  • Build consultative relationships with high-level clientele to offer the best products and maximize client NOI.
  • Negotiate competitive MDU sales agreements while navigating legal redline processes and leveraging product knowledge to develop proposals and contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 1+ year(s) of strategic planning and problem-solving to develop effective sales strategies and to navigate long sales cycles for closing complex deals.
  • Technical Skills: Proven negotiation skills with contract proposal/review experience and working knowledge of computer networking, LAN/WAN technologies, and fiber-connected networks.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent attention to detail for accurate forecasting, effective communication via phone, email, and WebEx, strong multi-tasking, consultative sales experience, self-motivation, and professional poise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) including automated reporting and analysis.
  • Recent experience negotiating long-term R.O.E agreements in an MDU environment, along with familiarity with the cable industry.
  • 3-5+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas (preferably selling data, voice, and video solutions) and consultative sales expertise.
  • 3+ years of drafting and negotiating proposals and contracts in the cable television, residential property management, or real estate development industries.
