Job Description

Position Overview

American Heritage Credit Union, a $5+ billion credit union, is seeking a Digital Marketing Content Developer. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of digital marketing initiatives—from website and email marketing support to social media content creation—designed to enhance member engagement while promoting both American Heritage and the Kids-N-Hope Foundation’s online media brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, write, gather, organize, and edit content for publication on digital platforms to create a streamlined member experience and enhance web presence.
  • Facilitate content development initiatives across the Marketing team, including scheduling, brainstorming sessions, and content creation.
  • Manage the digital editorial content calendar (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for email, social, and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and organize the content library and production calendar, ensuring all digital assets are accessible.
  • Coordinate the shooting, editing, and production of video content for marketing, education, and public relations.
  • Collaborate with management to establish digital/financial content goals and strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day posting of content on social media, websites, blogs, and emails, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Monitor content performance via KPIs (pageviews, downloads, etc.) and use insights to improve future initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain blog content and ensure timely publication across digital platforms.
  • Research partnerships with vendors and emerging technologies to enhance financial wellness outreach.
  • Coordinate and promote special events via digital and social channels.
  • Support the creation and implementation of marketing automation and provide ongoing digital marketing support.
  • Perform basic design revisions as needed using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.

Required Qualifications

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
  • HubSpot Marketing Software Certification at or within six months of hire.
  • Proven experience in developing, executing, and tracking email campaigns.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining content across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
  • Expertise in SEO/SEM content creation.
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems, email service providers, and social media platforms.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (or equivalent design software such as Canva) and MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services and non-profit sectors.
  • Experience with Eventbrite or similar event tracking programs.
