Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking Claims Call Center Specialists for our growing insurance company! As a Claims Call Center Specialist at Warrior Insurance Network (WIN), you will be responsible for the intake of initial reports of losses, providing customers with initial information regarding the claims process, and referring insureds and claimants for estimates when coverage applies. You will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, handling inquiries with empathy and expertise while assisting adjusters by answering claim-related questions, documenting claims accurately, resolving issues, and providing timely updates—all within a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Record accident facts as reported by insureds and/or claimants.
- Verify coverage, recognize potential coverage issues, refer insureds/claimants for estimates, and route calls to the appropriate claims units based on the loss information provided.
- Assist adjusters by directing customers through the claims process and answering claims-related questions.
- Develop a basic understanding of insurance policies to address policy-related inquiries pertaining to losses.
- Contribute to maintaining call volume in line with unit objectives.
- Assist with various ongoing responsibilities including processing unmatched mail, tow bills, ordering police reports, mailing claim checks, and similar tasks as needed.
- Work on special projects as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent phone communication skills.
- Solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Good typing/data entry skills (minimum 30 wpm).
- Proficient PC skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Insurance experience is a plus.

- Compensation Range: $15/hr-$16/hr* (Published ranges are estimates. Offered compensation will be based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Starting salary may vary by whether the position is in-office, hybrid, or remote.)
