Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Credit Card Processor to join our team in Ramsey, New Jersey. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent placement. The role is responsible for managing credit card transactions and ensuring accurate processing of customer payments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed credit card reports to monitor transaction activity and payment status.
- Process credit card payments promptly, including posting those payments at the time of charge.
- Daily posting of checks and ACH payments to customer accounts to ensure accurate account balances.
- Contact customers and sales representatives regarding declined credit card transactions to facilitate resolution.
- Assist with special projects related to accounts receivable as time permits, supporting overall team objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, credit card processing, or a related finance role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software is a plus.
