Job Description

Position Overview

KSI Engineering, Inc. is looking for a Senior Project Engineer who is interested in joining a multi-disciplinary team focused on serving relationship-based clients and internal business units across multiple states. KSI is a privately-owned, sole-source service provider of engineering, fabrication, construction, and maintenance services to industries including upstream oil and gas production, natural gas treating and transportation, refining, co-generation, heavy industrial, and pipeline systems. Prioritizing innovation and technology integration, the company is committed to providing best-in-class services to customers while developing and cross-training its team. The role will focus on supporting the existing customer base and internal stakeholders through the execution of various projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Salary: $40.00-$70.00 Hr.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Lead discipline-specific efforts associated with projects and initiatives
  • Manage project teams consisting of designers, drafters, and project engineers
  • Analyze technical drawings, interpret specifications, and determine project requirements
  • Evaluate customer processes to design appropriate fluid-handling facilities
  • Design and perform engineering calculations for process facilities
  • Utilize computer-assisted design and engineering software (e.g. Hysys, Ceasar II, PIPE-FLO, AutoCAD)
  • Collaborate with drafters, designers, other engineers, and clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Create, read, and interpret engineering reports
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on drawings and projects
  • Analyze and approve construction and engineering plans
  • Diagnose problems and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Plan, schedule, and budget the work required
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and departments in problem solving
  • Follow all KSI Engineering, Inc. safety and customer policies and procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and experienced with CAD software
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and make decisions under pressure
