Position Overview
Dearfoams has been a trusted leader in comfort footwear since 1947 and is the #1 slipper brand in the U.S. Now expanding into next-gen social commerce with TikTok Shop and Instagram, we are looking for a creative, data-driven, and highly entrepreneurial content creator. In this role, you will drive customer acquisition and revenue through short-form video and social-first storytelling while helping shape how the next generation discovers and shops for comfort. You’ll be part of a dynamic team at RG Barry Brands that values innovation, inclusion, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition Through Content:Own and execute a TikTok and Instagram content strategy to acquire new customers with high-converting, entertaining, and trend-driven videos, develop daily content with clear product benefits and strong calls-to-action, use TikTok Shop tools (affiliate partnerships, product pins, in-video shopping), and identify opportunities through hashtags, sound trends, and TikTok SEO.
- Paid + Organic Growth Strategy:Collaborate with the marketing, paid media, and influencer teams to test organic content in paid formats (Spark Ads) to scale creative performance while elevating the brand to attract new and younger audiences.
- Performance-Driven Optimization:Utilize platform analytics, conversion data, and A/B tests to optimize content performance, focusing on metrics such as CAC, CTR, and ROAS while continuously iterating on hooks, formats, visuals, and messaging.
- Affiliate & Influencer Collaborations:Recruit and manage TikTok affiliate creators, develop campaign briefs, track creator performance, and repackage user-generated content for ongoing acquisition efforts.
- Analytics & Reporting:Analyze performance data and provide weekly recommendations for content improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years in social media marketing, content creation, DTC eCommerce, or growth marketing.
- Proven track record of using content to acquire and convert new customers (portfolio or case studies are a plus).
- Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop, Reels shopping, or affiliate-driven content campaigns.
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Suite, or equivalent.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A creator and strategist who loves making short-form video while thinking like a growth marketer.
- Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram as acquisition tools beyond brand awareness.
- Fully tapped into Gen Z culture with the ability to craft authentic, native-feeling content.
- Comfortable interpreting funnel data and adjusting creative strategies based on performance insights.
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop mechanics and attribution to move customers from scroll to sale.
- Proactive, agile, and eager to own an emerging sales channel from the ground up.
