Job Description

Position Overview

The Ryan White Kentucky Care Coordinator Program (KCCP) Senior Manager, Medical Case Management is responsible for the overall operation of the Ryan White Part B support services program. This includes non‐medical case management, emergency support services, and medication assistance through the Kentucky AIDS Drug Assistance Program (KADAP) for people living with HIV (PLWH) in the KIPDA Region of Kentucky. Reporting directly to the Ryan White Part B Program Director, this role ensures compliance with state and federal requirements while providing strategic leadership to support approximately 3,000 eligible clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of a multi-million-dollar Ryan White Part B grant.
  • Supervise a team of four managers and approximately forty Medical Case Managers.
  • Lead weekly priority-setting meetings with the Program Director and management team using client-level assessment reports to guide strategy.
  • Ensure case management workflows comply with state-mandated caseload standards and monitor performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the financial team to review monthly financial reports and ensure timely submissions.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality improvement projects to enhance care delivery.
  • Contribute to program quality assessments through policy, procedure, protocol, and training development.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly grant quality reports to the state.
  • Partner with federal, state, divisional, and community stakeholders to collect, manage, and analyze client-level data for accurate program reporting.
  • Serve as the leader of the Clinical Quality Management Board and interdisciplinary team representative.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, external partners, patients, and family members.
  • Ensure adherence to all university, state, and federal policies and procedures related to program administration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 7 (Salaried).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration, Epidemiology, Human Service, or a health-related field or equivalent experience; Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and engaging community representatives to overcome health outcome barriers.
  • Experience working with individuals living with HIV, with an understanding of their unique healthcare and support needs.
  • Familiarity with the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, with strong documentation, communication, and reporting skills.
