Job Description
Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator assists in the development and execution of marketing and advertising promotions as well as menu development, playing a crucial role in supporting overall marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with creative agency on digital messaging and promotions including e-mail promotions and social media.
- Assist in proofing copy for multiple menus and beverage menus.
- Manage all Local Store Marketing requests; creative requests and ads, etc.
- Respond to questions and requests regarding marketing from field operations.
- Prepare a monthly marketing update to send to operations.
- Program and schedule email blasts.
- Keep promotional materials and other items updated in inventory.
- Support the marketing function by coordinating projects with creative agency, printers, and other functions.
- Monitor social media activity, assist in creating and managing social media content, and respond to guest inquiries on Facebook and Twitter.
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Social media/blog savvy.
- Proactive attitude to take on and run with any project discussed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new programs and technology related to the job function.
- Great customer service attitude and strong planning skills.
