Position Overview

A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) opportunity is available to provide essential healthcare services across multiple middle school locations in Chicago, IL. This onsite role requires flexibility to support onsite Registered Nurses and contribute to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring comprehensive care and assistance where needed.

Location: Chicago, IL

Compensation: $28.00 to $45.00

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and health services to students across four school locations
• Collaborate with onsite Registered Nurses to support daily healthcare needs and emergency response
• Assist with the development and implementation of student IEPs in coordination with educational and health staff
• Monitor and manage student health plans and medication administration
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with Illinois school health regulations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) License
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Ability to manage health caseload efficiently across multiple school sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in school nursing or pediatric care
