Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in various manufacturing facilities. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in the field. Job Type: Full-time and may require travel for up to 180 days per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute installation and commissioning of new installations, service tasks, as well as upgrades on existing installations.
- Supervise – lead and control external contractors.
- Secure targeted and optimum execution of installation projects and service activities.
- Supervise and follow up on plans – act on behalf of the Gram Equipment Field Service Manager.
- Prepare weekly installation/service reports during and after completion of installation and service tasks.
- Conduct technical user training for customers’ maintenance crew.
- Secure that customer feedback is reported to the Gram HQ.
- Support and work with the company’s Engineering/Service department on development of new products.
- Support and work with the company’s Engineering, Production, and QA departments to secure product quality.
- When needed, support back-office colleagues on technical questions/cases.
- When needed, participate in the development of the company’s training programs.
- Assist the construction department and other colleagues by creating documentation such as instructions, service and user manuals, and educational material.
- Effectively communicate with customers, sales teams, and partners to ensure that customer needs and demands are understood and met – provide feedback to field service management.
- Never violate safety regulations, both Gram Equipment and customer site policies.
