Nurse RN - Part Time

Position Overview

Blue Cloud, the largest pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center company in the country, is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our care team. Specializing in dental restorative and exodontia surgery for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia, we deliver safe, quality, and accessible care. Schedule: Part Time. In this role, you will be part of a close-knit clinical team working together to ensure exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document the patient's status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to the surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered.
• Monitor the patient and inform the dentist or anesthetist of any observed complications.

Required Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Previous experience in ICU or perioperative nursing.
