Job Description

Position Overview

This position is remote and applicants must reside in one of the following states: AR, AZ, MS, IL, GA, IN, FL, CO, TN, KY, MN, MO, NV, NM, OH, TX, PA, WI. As an Inside Sales Representative at Evernorth Health Services – a division of The Cigna Group – you will work directly with patients by managing inbound and outbound calls to educate them on and convert their prescription medication needs to Express Scripts Home Delivery Pharmacy. You will be expected to build instant rapport, achieve high customer satisfaction, and close sales in a fast-paced, rewards‐driven environment.Compensation:Hourly rate of 17–26 USD based on experience and geographic location, with eligibility for an annual bonus plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact targeted patients via inbound and outbound calls to educate them on maximizing their use of Express Scripts Home Delivery Pharmacy.
  • Handle overflow calls to assist patients with converting to Express Scripts Home Delivery and answering basic customer service and order status queries.
  • Research and understand Express Scripts services as well as patient plan designs to effectively educate patients.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to resolve patient issues and answer questions in a pleasant, clear, and concise manner.
  • Manage other special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent phone, sales, and communication skills with the ability to explain and answer questions clearly and concisely.
  • Relevant customer service experience and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office and Internet usage.
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally influence members to utilize Express Scripts Home Delivery Pharmacy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service or sales experience.
  • Call center experience.
