In this role, you will drive AMD’s Consumer PC efforts by leading our MNC (OEM) PC channels through Retailers, E-tailers, Corporate Resellers, Value Added Resellers and Distributors across North America. Location: Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on AMD volume, share, mix and revenue goals – achieve sales targets for the allocated territory.
  • Develop and implement overall partner sales and marketing strategy.
  • Implement and manage sales programs with key partners.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Manage key relationships with organized retailers, MNC partners, and distribution channels to drive awareness and secure buy-in.
  • Timely update of web-based forecasting and funding tools and management of outsourced resources.
  • Ensure all points in the path-to-market chain are:
    • Aware of AMD programs
    • Understand AMD’s value proposition
    • Educated on AMD’s road map and USPs
    • Informed about our channel engagement strategies and activities
  • Gather and report weekly market intelligence.
  • Ensure program partners are reporting via a third-party system.
  • Manage local engagement with external market analysis companies – IDC and NPD.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven leader experienced in growing PC sales with a track record of success in increasing both unit sales and revenue.
  • Excellent relationship management and strong decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and programs to maximize impact.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences including customers and business/partner executives.
  • Willingness to travel as required (25%+ regional travel).
  • Advanced presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in a similar role (e.g., product marketing) and experience dealing with MNCs.
  • Experience working with large retailers and merchant organizations.
  • Ability to generate new sales from existing and new business clients.
  • Record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Capability to identify market opportunities, develop sales plans and execute them effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word, including basic understanding of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP in Excel.
