SEO Specialist (WordPress)

Position Overview

We are an IT and HR company based in Beverly Hills/Hollywood in the Los Angeles area, California, seeking an SEO Specialist (WordPress) to join our team. This remote role allows you to work from anywhere—including Japan—as long as you meet our requirements. You will use your SEO, marketing, and website development skills to improve and launch websites, with meetings generally held in Japanese and working hours between 9:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO of websites (both our own and client websites)
• Website development and improvement using WordPress
• Analysis and creation of marketing materials utilizing tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
• Content marketing including proposing article ideas and directing article writing
• Customer service through proposal writing and meetings
• Assisting with additional tasks such as creating websites/applications beyond WordPress, managing AWS servers, and conducting research as needed

Required Qualifications

• Experience in SEO

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in web writing
• Experience creating websites using WordPress
• Experience creating sites using Shopify
• Programming experience using PHP and JavaScript
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Ruby on Rails, React, Django, or similar
• Experience with SEM (Google Ads, SNS ads, etc.)
• Experience maintaining and managing servers using AWS and infrastructure knowledge
• Sales or management experience
• Bilingual in Japanese and English
